DEBATE: Standardized Testing
Directions:
- Read the article assigned to your group, highlighting the pros and cons of standardized testing in different colors.
- Choose a side to argue. For an extra challenge, you may want to try arguing the side that is the opposite of your opinion.
- Prepare your argument by using Paul’s Reasoning Model.
- Discuss the main points you will make with the members of your group.
- Review our working agreements for debate.
- Come to class prepared with your notes.
- Prior to the debate, review the reflection questions you will be answering so that you are prepared to reflect after the debate.
