I like your clear instructions and I bet it's an interesting topic to students. I also thought it was interesting that you ranked the entire class's ability to gel together and provide convincing evidence one way or another; that's a slightly different skill they'd learn. Do the students know they're being rated? I bet that would change the conversation if they knew they were compared to other classes.
