A) Introduce the locations you pinned on the map “Placing the Humanities”

The first place I pinned on the map was Jalisco Mexico because it is my birth place. The second pin was in Palestine where Christianity originated and the third was in Africa because of the importance of the Nile River. 

B) Share a little about yourself

Hi I am a third grade teacher teaching in California. I teach in a Title I, meaning federal funds help to meet the educational needs of students in California schools. I enjoying hiking and having a nice glass of wine to unwind.

C) Identify 3 words that come to mind when you hear the word geography and explain why you chose them.

Three words that come to mind when I hear the word geography are maps, landscape and exploration. I think about these words because reminds me of an explorer trying to learn/study new places.
