 I am an Armenian who was born and raised in Iran. I moved to the United States in 2008. I currently teach high school within LAUSD.

Mountains are prominent physical features that influence climate, ecosystems, and human activities. Physical geography examines the formation, distribution, and significance of mountain ranges. Additionally, mountains play a crucial role in shaping regional geography, affecting factors like agriculture, transportation, and settlement patterns. Geography plays a crucial role in understanding geopolitical dynamics and the historical context of conflicts and wars. The physical geography of a region can impact military strategies, resource distribution, and territorial disputes. Geopolitical considerations, such as the strategic importance of certain locations or natural resources, often influence the occurrence and outcomes of wars. Historical geography explores how past events, including wars, have shaped the geographic features and boundaries of regions.
