Compare the framework to the essential questions in your district and/or personal curriculum.
One commonality with the curriculum we use and Knarratives is asking was the social, economic, political, and/or cultural environment that Africans found themselves living under during the period under study?” or Who we are to Others? We always start with background knowledge and what is known about the topic.
In which ways are these different or the same?
A difference is the way we refer to and study science and technology, and address the question of what types of ideas about how nature works (science) did people develop, and/or what devices people created to shape their natural, animal, and human environments?” Often, the science curriculum will have students conduct their investigations rather than focus on the scientists who discovered the environments before them.
