I listened to the AfroQueer Podcast. Her first episode she introduces Fannyann Eddy. Fannyann was a LGBT Activist from Sierra Leone and throughout Africa. This podcast brings a voice to all the LGBT community in Africa. Unfortunately, Fannyann was murdered. She fought to end discrimination and violence against the LGBT community. I feel that these podcasts not only speak to the LGBT community but to everyone to bring awareness about sexuality, fairness and race in the people of Africa. Podcasts like this brings community and brings awareness to issues that are being neglected and avoided in African and across the world.
