I would teach the history of African Fractals in my classroom first and explain why they are so important and unique to Africa alone. Then, I would show them pictures. I would relate an art lesson alongside with math. They would need to create their own society using geometric designs. They can use materials such as sticks, molding clay, paper and pencil. Once finished students can share their designs and talk about what patterns or shapes they used to create their little community or society.
