This set of slides are ones that I already had on the Abbasid Caliphate and a served as a review for my students and new information on the Abbasid Caliphate. I just slightly modified the slides by adding an additional slide. The final slide is inspired by the Teach California website from this module, and I would develop an investigation activity around that question. Students would read various sources and examine objects from the time to draw conclusions about the how people interacted in Baghdad during this time.
