Hi all! I teach in Brookfield, Wisconsin. We are about 20 minutes outside of Milwaukee. I just started teaching geography this year, so I hope to learn a lot! On the map, I pinned Tisovec, Slovakia as an important place to me. I taught there for two years at a boarding school and loved it. I also pinned the British Museum and Juliet's Balcony as places influenced by geography or the humanities. I believe the British Museum is a reflection of colonization around the world from the British Empire. I believe Juliet's Balcony is a reflection of humanities on geography as a top tourist destination based on the famous play. When I hear geography I think of place, map, and the world.
