When looking at Africa as a social construct it can be dangerous. In the sense that if someone does not fully understand Africa in its entirety  they can allow their own bias to interfere with its rich History and diversity in regards to people and societies. In the classroom, teaching about Africa in its wholeness and richness can give students a better understanding of the diaspora and how different people create their own languages and cultures.
