In the library, I have the opportunity to teach about media literacy.  I currently focus it on discussing ways to stay safe when sharing information online.  Seeing this clip helps me realize that the point of view of media outlets should and could also be taught.  I appreciate the way this journalist points out how news outlets often default to showing "experts" who are from Washington, DC or other cities that are the headquarters for large media companies.  We often blindly accept their knowledge when we should be questioning why local experts are not on air.
