Hello team! I hope you're school year is starting off well and that you have an abundance of joy in your life. My husband and I had the opportunity to visit a very old African American church in Alexandria, Virginia. This has been a bucket-list item of mine for a long time, and the trip was delightful. We had never been to Alexandria and were pleased to see just how much of its history regarding African Americans in the area was on display. My husband and I met 34 years ago when we both lived in a colonial city (Charleston, South Carolina). We found several connections between that city and Alexandria. If you ever find yourself near Washington, D.C., Alexandria is just a metro-stop away.  Peace! ~Kelli
