I liked that his book is about two different cultures and the activities are simple enough to do with Kinders. Quote from the lesson plan " He shares big and little differences in his daily experiences in each country – including phrases in Arabic and English - but ultimately realizes that the most important experiences are
exactly the same across cultures."

It has an example of a "Cultural Bingo Board", asks questions as simple as: do you have pets? Do you speak different languages at home?

I enjoyed the simple, low stress activities that can get students talking and writing about their own lives/ cultures.
